SPTP-DC works to expose and root out systemic racism and brutality in DC’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and to educate and advocate for non-police approaches to keeping our communities safe.

We are dedicated to:
-Advocating for policies that create and support alternative structures to policing.
-Holding all law enforcement that abuses and terrorizes our community accountable. As long as the police are an institution, there must be clear accountability mechanisms in the hands of the people.
-Uplifting, collaborating with, and standing as an accomplice to all marginalized and oppressed communities in DC
-Opposing all racism, patriarchy, bigotry, xenophobia, homophobia and transphobia.

We can’t do this work alone and want you to be a part of helping us keep up the pace--so come hang and help us fundraise!
